booking information

autopilot is a home recording studio with professional equipment for the budget minded musician. we also can provide editing services, mixing, mastering, convert LPs to CDs, voice overs for karaoke, other pre-recorded material, and spoken word (like audio books or promotional items.) in some instances, we can also provide live audio recording and mixing services.

we record in the evenings and on weekends and holidays.

when booking a session, please note that we do require a basic agreement to be signed between the artist and studio. this agreement protects the rights of both parties in the event of certain circumstances.

rates

basic rates are $25/hr for studio services. call to discuss your project and for demo specials.

we accept cash, check, or credit card (cc via PayPal) and will even consider any equipment you may have for trade-in.

equipment rental

basic studio rates above include all of the studio equipment needed for basic recording based on using your band's equipment such as your drumkit, guitars, amps, speaker cabs, and other instrumentation.

if the occasion arises where you'd like to add a different sound to your recording than you can get with your own gear, we do have a small selection of interesting guitars, amps, speaker cabinets, and stompboxes available for rent.

the small rental fees help cover our long term maintenance expenses associated with replacing strings, tubes, speakers, dpdt switches, and whatever else breaks on the rental gear.
